      Hi 12sarsat

It theory, if a plant or animal’s DNA has been preserved we could bring it back to life particularly with the help of new technologies like synthetic biology. However, if it had been extinct for thousands or millions of years it’s habitat would likely have been destroyed. The food it survived on may not be available now. Whatever pressures made it extinct before may do the same again.
