Not with the current state of technology. It is not as simple as getting the DNA, stitching it and put it on an egg and hope it will produce something. The main problem now is that we still don’t understand all the mechanism that control life. We are currently in the point of being able to produce bacteria from raw DNA. My guess is that it will eventually be possible, but there is still a lot of research to be done. And, if your question is that if we are going to make dinosaurs come back… I’m afraid DNA doesn’t stay that long to be useful, but it would be really cool.

      Hi firephoenix
Synthetic biology is a new science that is learning to build cells and simple bacteria from scratch using DNA. Over the next few years, they will develop more complex systems, but I don’t know about building new animals.
