  I have heard of people who have banged their head and suddenly discovered they are a musical genius or a maths genius. And very recently I heard of someone who woke from a coma speaking another language.
  Most of the theories for what causes this suggest that when a part of the brain is damaged it causes the other parts to go into overdrive to compensate and release some dormant potential that maybe we all have.
  For the rest of us, the only thing that will make us smart is listening to your teachers and working hard 🙂
