Wow, this is a good question. I never heard the term before. But for what I understand from the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biodynamic_agriculture) it is similar to “organic” agriculture, but it started in a single conference and looks like pseudoscience.
Indeed, now we know that if you have a very intensive production, the field looses nutrients, and the best way to renew the soil is to rotate crops, or use fertilisers. However, we need to find a balance, because traditional farming and traditional varieties of crops do not produce enough to feed the world.
