      Hi misswaleshasswag,

      I get paid above minimum wage with my job, and I can be promoted each year depending on performance. A lot of jobs that require a good base education pay a bit higher, to encourage qualified people, so well worth sticking in at school 🙂

      I’m a PhD student, and foreigner, having to pay tuition fees and so on, so not much really. But before I started, I was already working in science and it was enough for a comfortable life ~22,000 pounds a year, before taxes.
