      Hi misswaleshasswag
The hardest thing is getting funding to do the research. There isn’t enough funding available for everyone so we have to compete with other scientists.

Writing. I’m not yet in the stage of trying to get funding for my own research, but I’m sure that will also include writing. But it is so necessary to write your ideas and your results!

Asides of that, people seems to decide to put their own names to the experiments, and everybody has a different “standard” to store their data. In bioinformatics you end up more time making sense and giving format to data than actually analysing it.

The hardest thing is managing the variation that we see in fields. Every field is different so the best solution is always a bit different. This makes the agronomy (how to crop the crop) complex
