I think with some of the new technologies, like nanotechnology, a cure for cancer is getting closer.
Did you know one third of all cancers are related to diet and lifestyle. If you look after your health by eating lots of fruit and veggies, exercise every day and smile lots you will live longer 😀 😀

Cancer is not a single disease. Many of the cancers are part of the natural ageing process. It is just that we live now long enough to degrade to the point where our cells don’t know that they must die to keep the body alive. For each cancer, specialised research has to be done, and the more we understand them, the best we can control them. My bet would be that more common cancers will be more studied and better therapies for them will be available (they had been improving anyway). And as Jennifer said, the lifestyle affects your chances to get some sort of cancer.

I would like to think so, but then how long will we live for if we can effectively regenerate cells through stem cell technology and nonotech….
